Compendium of Curiosities III ~ Challenge 10 ~ Assemblage Clock

A late night post again ! Somewhat ironic given that this is an Assemblage Clock ! You could say that once again I am just in the nick of time to get my post up for this fortnight's Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge. The Curiosity Crew have challenged us to have a go at altering one of Tim's Assemblage Clocks. This features on page 33 of The Compendium of Curiosities Volume 3. I've fancied having a go with one of these for some time so this seemed like a great opportunity. I've chosen a travel theme and used several stamped images as well as some travel labels from an Idea-ology 'Expedition' Ephemera Pack.

There's lots of room in these empty clocks so it proved to be quite a challenge layering all the pieces, I got through a lot of sticky pads!
This fortnight's challenge is generously sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique and as usual there is a another fabulous prize of a bunch of goodies from those lovely guys Tim and Mario, for the Curiosity Crews favourite piece. So what's not to love about that! If you hop over to Linda's Studio L3 blog, you'll find some wonderful examples from the Curiosity Crew, and by time you read this there will probably be full details of how to join in with the next challenge ! x

  2. Antonia...I love this idea and I love your clock! The traveling theme is done with such a vintage flair! I love the colors and the beautiful lady looking longingly out to the ocean liner. I hope that it is coming into port rather than leaving her behind. :) I also love the exterior of your clock. The aged, weathered, rusted metal look is amazing. I also love what looks like etching around it. Very cool. You've done a really nice job on this. Thanks for sharing with all of us at CC3C. <3 Candy
