I've been enjoying following Tim's blog and drooling over all the new releases. I take comfort in the knowledge that as soon as I win the lottery they will all be mine!!!, until then I'll do what I normally do and just add some of my favourites to my already vast collection of craft supplies! I'm pretty excited about those tag shaped stencils. Still I digress, here is my July offering to the Twelve Tags of 2013 Challenge. As always, a fun tag to make. I really enjoyed making the flower as my substitute for the Old Glory die that Tim used. Here's a close up....
I don't use this Distress Crackle technique often enough even though I love the great textural finish, so I've promised myself to use it again soon. Only Two more days of work until I break up for the 'Big One !' and I'll be in crafting heaven, in between getting my house in order, seeing friends and family, decorating the utility room, doing the garden, going on holiday..... etc. etc. watch this space ! Have fun x

The crackle technique worked beautifully on the tattered flowers. I also like the way your background came out. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi Toni, greetings from the sweltering south! Your tag is fabulous, I love the crackled tattered florals and your background is gorgeous. I am with you on the lottery win...and love those stencils too, along with most of the rest of the new releases...there is one thing for sure, we will never be rich....except in our craft rooms! Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteHey Toni! your tag is beautiful. The whole tag looks wonderful not to mention the design work. Most of all I really like the colors - they have an antique feel to them.

ReplyDeleteHi Toni, what a beautiful tag! Hope your holiday is full of fun, laughter and creating!!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing your tag thumbnail on the TH Blog - it caught my eye. Thank you for coming over to my blog and leaving such a sweet comment - it was lovely to hear from you! I know what you mean about dreaming about winning the lottery just to get craft supplies. Crafters should start a crafting lottery - I think it would be a super popular lottery dont you think?
ReplyDeleteThis is a cracker of a tag Toni. Beautiful. I have the same dream of winning the lottery!
