Well it's half way through August and here I am posting my August Tag for Tim's Twelve Tags of 2012 challenge. I'm usually more of a last minute person but I was really looking forward to having a go at this one as there are so many elements that I love. I particularly like the silhouette of the two dogs. I had to resort to the ancient method of using scissors after finding this picture in one of my Dover books, scanned and printed first of course! the frame, flowers and leaves have been cut on my Pazzles Inspiration machine which I've been playing with this week. I must confess to having bought the embossing folder that Tim uses, just couldn't resist I'm afraid. I've added a few dewdrops to the leaves with glossy accents. I'm afraid my photography skills don't capture the lovely perfect pearls shimmer but trust me it's there x

This is just adorable. They are so cute! I love the floral spray you made and the way you made the dew drops on the leaves. Awesome.
ReplyDeletethis is so gorgeous - love the idea of the doggy silhouettes and your flowers are SO well done, brilliant idea to do the dew drops.
ReplyDeleteHi Toni...this is a fabulous tag.. I love the silhouette images you have used and your flowers are amazing. TFS HUgs Annie x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Toni! And it's nothing to do with your photographic skills (which are great, by the way - lovely shots!) - anything pearly, sparkly or iridescent is notoriously difficult to photograph. For some reason it just doesn't show up.
ReplyDeleteCore'dinations card is lovely, isn't it. I use it quite a bit. I've discovered recently that you can emboss it in the Cuttlebug and then sand it to expose the core colour, and then emboss it again, which gives you another impression, but the sanded part comes out flat. Awesome! The Tim Holtz range is lovely, and co-ordinates perfectly with the distress inks, of course. I bought a pad, and discovered that you can buy separate sheets as well, so if you use a lot of one colour it doesn't matter.

ReplyDeleteHi Toni, your tag is absolutely gorgeous, love the silhouette and your beautiful flowers. Thanks for your comment on mine, you are right indeed, everyone seems to excel this month, I wonder if it is because it is a little more feminine that previous tags Tim has done........Crafty hugs, Anne x
