WOYWW #209

Good evening fellow WOYWW'ers, hope everyone has been having a lovely day. I must say my working day ended on a bit of a bum note when someone drove into my car as I was leaving work. I'm glad to say that no one was hurt (that really means me!) but my 'new to me' car has now got a very ugly dent in it. Fortunately the very bad driver of the other car is insured and the 'accident' was quite straight forward so should not be a problem to sort out. So, it was very cheering to arrive home and find some more gorgeous ATC's waiting for me. Thank you Krisha for restoring me to a good mood. Thank you also to Lottie and Nikki for the lovely ATC's I received yesterday, I have really loved to see the care that you lovely ladies have put into making and packaging these little works of art, so very thoughtful. x So if you want to join in with the 5 year anniversary ATC swap in approximately 358 days time, hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground blog and find out all there is to know about 'What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday'. It's a whole lot of fun. For anyone that was interested in my mystery parcel from last week it was the Tim Holtz Word Play Die, a belated birthday present as it had been out of stock for a while, and here is a picture of what I did with the fern leaves and my new obsession, yes that's right a Gelli Plate. Happy WOYWW x
OOps! forgot to put the picture on x

  2. Hi Toni, so sorry to hear of the accident, glad that you are OK though but shame about your car...

Love the ATCs you received, I got one from Lottie too so know how beautiful that one is in real life. Don't want to harass you but I did send you an email about our swap, did you get it? I have an ATC here with your name on it but need your address.

Hope tomorrow is a much better day for you. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #51

  4. =) so it wasn't the sunshine then. Those fern leaves look wonderful. Great idea to use them with your gelli plate.
That's indeed a journal page (there are a few pictures in the blogpost from this and another page plus a better shot of the ATC Nikki sent me). Looking forward to receiving your ATC. Yours is already in the mail, since last friday. Hope it gets there soon.

  11. Hi Toni, sorry to hear about your accident. You must be thank full you weren't hurt, but pretty scary and upsetting I should think.
I received your ATC today, I love it and all the little goodies that came with it, thank you so much. The Fern pieces look great, wish I could see the gelli plate in use somewhere, I am intrigued as to how it's used.
Hope you have a lovely weekend
